Photosynthesis by BlackJack0919 Photosynthesis by BlackJack0919
Photosynthesis (from the Greek φώτο- [photo-], "light," and σύνθεσις [synthesis], "putting together", "composition") is a process that converts carbon dioxide into organic compounds, especially sugars, using the energy from sunlight.

Photosynthesis is the reason we survive until today :XD:

I was home earlier today from a tired day at school , and when I take my motorcycle to the basement , I suddenly see the sun lights through the branch :XD: so , I Clicked , and this is the result =P

The Sun rays is probably the reflect result when they go through the scratches of my magnifying glass =P caused a surprise effect =P

Canon Powershot SX10 IS + a magnifying glass ( old one =P ) , increased in light , green and purple using color balancing , increased contrast and minor vignetting :XD:

Thank you for viewing :hug:

I always love your concepts :aww: I don't have enough criticism to say about this photo for this to qualify as a critique, so I'll just leave a comment =P

I like how the top/sky is not overexposed and darker compared to the bright sunlight, making it feel warmer and more eye grabbing.

I would've probably used a star filter just to help give the light a bit more conture and shape.

I would've chosen a different angle so that the sunlight would be at the tip of the plant instead of at the center so that the sunlight would look like a flower bloorimg from the plant :shrug: Just an idea ;)

Good work :D

Thanks for the comment ^^

Just feel free to give critique , I always love to hear your ideas ;)

I think the idea of the sunlight at the top of the plant is great :D love it :XD: may be I will try to make it some other time ^^

By the way , I need your opinion about some Nikkor lens thought , I was really confusing about buying a 50mm f1.8 , because I think that I can actually make a wonderful DOF out of the 18-55mm VR , and because the 18-55mm can have a 50mm distance too , so what's the point of buying the 50mm f1.8 ^^;

The only thing I heard about the 50mm f1.8 is that they catch very beautiful Bokeh :XD:

The 50mm F1.8 has the capability of having a wider aperture up to F1.8 while the 18-55mm can only go as wide as F3.5 I believe. This makes the 50mm much better for bokeh, portraits, and dim lighting situations I suppose. Being a prime lens, the 50mm F1.8 is much much sharper and probably also faster. :shrug:
